Helping Individuals Be Successful (HIBS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas, dedicated to empowering children, families, and communities. Our mission is to provide access to nutritious meals, enrichment activities, arts programs, and educational support that foster growth and mental health, confidence, and success.
We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Through our community-based programs delivered directly in neighborhoods we not only fight food insecurity but also create safe spaces where individuals can learn, explore creativity, build relationships, and develop life skills.

Food Programs: Providing healthy meals and snacks for individuals and families in need.
Enrichment Activities: Programs that encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal growth and mental health support
Educational Support: Offering tutoring, homework help, and learning activities to promote academic success
Arts & Creativity: Introducing individuals to visual arts, music, dance, and other creative outlets that inspire imagination and self-expression.
